INITIAL TECHNOLOGY GOALS:
Strengths:
I have proficient use of word processing and presentation programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Slides. I am able to communicate and explain to students how to use each program well if I am familiar with it. Also, I have well-rounded knowledge of iPads, smartphones, Apple and PC products that will be beneficial in my future classroom.

Weaknesses:
I lack knowledge in legal areas of technology in the classroom, about what is and is not allowed to be put online. I am also not familiar with a multitude of programs and apps that would help integrate technology in the classroom, and how to deal with students who chose to misuse the materials.

Goals:
By the end of this course, I hope to improve my skills in spreadsheet softwares like Microsoft Excel. My goal is to be able to know how to effectively integrate technology in the classroom when it will be useful, and when it will not. Finally, I hope to improve my overall knowledge of programs online that could be used to help my future students to learn not only my subject area but how to become technologically savvy.
POST W200 EVALUATION:
Strengths:
My strengths have grown immensely since the beginning of this course. I have much more confidence finding and implementing the most useful technologies in my future classroom. Not only do I have proficient use of word processing and presentation software, after EDUC-W200 I know how to now effectively incorporate these technologies into lesson plans and create authentic learning activities. The most beneficial strength I have gained, is the ability to adapt my skills from one technology tool to another with confidence.

Weaknesses:
I still have areas of weakness using technology that can be improved. My knowledge of copyrights and the legal aspects of online property are still pretty basic and I feel as if I would need to improve my knowledge if I were to teach my students about it. Similarly, Excel programs and coding as a whole I have basic knowledge of but would like to improve upon.

Goals:
My goals for the future are to use programs like Storify to stay in-the-know about the newest, most effective technological tools and programs to best help the lives of my students and myself. I want to improve my knowledge of coding and computer programming, and learn more about the legalities of online property. Lastly, I want to be able to effectively share these tools with my co-workers and student in order to better teach and learn from one another.
